I have read many crime fiction books based in Scandinavia, and always dreamed of writing my own novel. We learnt techniques to generate ideas, plan a story, for editing and the writing itself. The Nordic setting helped me come up with a concept of my own, which I began writing in Stockholm. I am taking the Oslo and Copenhagen tours for sequels in Norway and Denmark!
My dream of the ultimate party has always been the Rio carnival. I took the plunge to learn how to samba in only place to learn it - Brazil! I came for the week before carnival, joined a week long group crash course and then partied the second week with my new friends and the two million others on the streets of the city. There is nothing like it.
